I visited with my 80-year old Great Uncle and his wife while I was passing through Orlando, FL. They had lots of needle point (?) hanging around the house. Some of the lettering was pretty interesting, take a look.
While in Georgia, I hiked Stone Mountain with a friend. Scientists speculate Stone Mountain could have formed 350 million years ago. And like the name suggests, it is a giant hunk of rock, in fact it’s the largest known granite formation. It lies about 1,600 feet above sea level, and at the top, there’s a great view of the surrounding area including the city of Atlanta in the horizon.
